Operation Outreach

The Operation Outreach Fund is a Non Profit organisation which functions under and in terms of a Constitution which has been duly registered with the Department of Social Development in terms of the Non Profit Organisation Act 1977. The Constitution makes provisions for a Management Committee must be elected at the Annual Congregational Meeting of Frere Road Presbyterian Church by the members of that Church Its main object is to establish and maintain a Christian Youth Ministry. It is the sole shareholder of 93 Evans Road (PTY) LTD and thereby is effectively the owner of the Jeanne Ednie Youth Centre i.e. the house next to the church. The Operation Outreach Fund’s main sources of income are the annual Church Fete, donations from The Frere Road Presbyterian Church Trust and Joe’s Money Boxes. The Operation Outreach Fund can only act within the provisions of its constitution.
